The Anatomy Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing medical education and research through ethical, respectful whole-body donation.

We work closely with families, coroners, medical examiners, hospices, hospitals, and funeral professionals to provide a dignified, no-cost alternative to traditional end-of-life arrangements. When a donor is accepted, the Anatomy Foundation coordinates transportation, care, and placement with accredited medical education and research partners. Upon completion of donation, cremation is provided at no cost to the family, with cremated remains returned according to the family’s wishes.

Our mission is rooted in service—to families seeking affordable options, to professionals who value clarity and compliance, and to the medical community that relies on anatomical donation to train future physicians, surgeons, and healthcare providers.

The Anatomy Foundation operates with strict donor screening criteria, clear consent processes, and a strong emphasis on family communication and professional collaboration. We believe whole-body donation should be handled with the same respect, accountability, and transparency expected in any part of death care.
