Hear from Kelli Essex on Veteran Foster Care at End of Life
Mrs. Kelli Essex began her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2004 as a Social Work Trainee and has since served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles. She currently serves as the Medical Foster Home (MFH) Coordinator, where she oversees program operations and supports community-based care options that allow Veterans to remain in a home setting as an alternative to institutional care.
Mrs. Essex brings extensive experience in caregiver support, program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a focus on improving outcomes for Veterans and their families. Born into a military family, she considers it a privilege to serve those who have served. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with her family.
